Strategic Sourcing Analyst Iii

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst is responsible for defining and implementing regional sourcing strategies for the relevant commodities and suppliers to reach the respective sourcing targets in delivery, productivity, cost, and quality. Moreover, this position is responsible for supplier negotiations, supplier capacity management, and supplier compliance with relevant TE requirements**What your background should look like**:Responsible for defining and implementing the strategy and classification (grow/fix/exit/develop) for the assigned suppliers (mostly small to mid-size suppliers) and commodities - under strong cooperation with Senior Strategic Buyer, Supplier Quality and Supply Chain ManagementResponsible for selecting suppliers that best fit to the defined commodity strategy and relevant product sourcing strategy, including biding, awarding, sourcing, and contracting of new suppliers, and approving set up of new suppliers while ensuring number of suppliers is further reducedResponsible for nominating suppliers in RFQ process and gathering offersResponsible for lead time improvement, including tracking and review of STC/ STR performance with relevant suppliers and driving of strategic improvement plansPreparation and leadership of negotiations with suppliers, including solution of contractual issues and providing MOQ and lead-time relevant information to Tactical BuyerQuote and negotiate production material costs to ensure material productivity performance meets or exceeds expectationsResponsible to develop saving plans for the assigned suppliers and commodities to reach the saving targets, including cost savings through annual negotiations with relevant suppliersHelps to identify technical possibilities for cost reductions in cooperation with the engineering departmentResponsible to screen proactively the market to identify suppliers and demands for the future, to identify development partners and to negotiate contracts with themParticipate or leads quarterly business reviews with suppliers, including review of financial, quality, and delivery performance targets and driving the supplier performance matrixLeading special projects, including re-sourcing and outsourcing activitiesResponsible to align required capacities with suppliersEnsures compliance with the global sourcing process and policies for all activities under responsibilityEnsures suppliers are compliant with TEs social supplier responsibility and legal requirements, including RoHS, Conflict MineralsEnsures supplier portal is used by suppliers (order confirmation, internet labelling)Responsible for purchasing system setup (Info Records) and ensure that it is up to dateResponsible to recognize proactively weaknesses in processes, to work on process improvements and to update or create the required the required documentation.Drives analyses and plausibilisation of regular reports as well as pushing for Data accuracy / clean-upEducational DegreeBachelor’s degree in economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalentProfessional Experience4+ years’ experience in procurement as procurement as Buyer, Strategic sourcing Analyst or Equivalent position in supply chainExperience in preparation of negotiationsSourcing experience for relevant commoditiesSpecial Qualifications, Knowledge & SkillsExcellent problem-solving analytical and communication skillsAbility to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitudeStrong project management skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teamsAbility to create competitive strategies and plans, broad knowledge of strategies and tactics of the marketplace, knows trendsProven track record in negotiation skillsKnowledge of regional and global supplier base for relevant commoditiesAdvanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPointFluent English at negotiation level**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
