Senior Accessibility Consultant

We are seeking a **Senior Accessibility Consultant** to join our team.**Responsibilities**- Perform accessibility assessment of design mockups and wireframes developed by the UI/UX team- Develop and review accessibility documentation- Proactively consult the team on accessibility integration and support process transformation- Provide recommendations for fixing accessibility issues- Consult and review development specifications and design mockups for ADA compliance- Supervise the accessibility testing team and conduct accessibility reviews when possible- Communicate accessibility-related points to clients and internal stakeholders**Requirements**:- 3+ years of experience in accessibility consulting, testing, specification, and requirements development- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, with a strong understanding of accessibility-related points- Deep knowledge of WCAG (2.0, 2.1+) and Section 508 requirements- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and the integration of accessibility- Background in developing accessibility specifications, policies, guidelines, and support documentation- Experience creating test cases, checklists, test scenarios, audit reports, and VPAT or customer reports- Working knowledge of assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack, VoiceOver), bug tracking (JIRA), test tracking systems, developer tools (Chrome Dev Tools), and automatic tools and code validators (Axe, Wave, validator.w3.org)- Capability to work with development teams to create accessible functionality and provide alternative solutions- Experience working in scrum on large projects with distributed teams is a plus- Skills in leading, coordinating, and supervising testers during audits or product analysis- Competency in estimating efforts required for accessibility testing, auditing, and analytics- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills- Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher)**Nice to have**- Knowledge of JavaScript- Familiarity with DQ DevTools- Experience leading and supervising distributed testing teams**We offer**- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions- International Mobility Plan within 25 countries- Constant training, mentoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- English classes with a certified teacher- Support for employee’s initiatives (Algorithms club, toastmasters, agile club and more)- Enjoyable working environment (Gaming room, napping area, amenities, events, sport teams and more)- Flexible work schedule and dress code- Collaborate in a multicultural environment and share best practices from around the globe- Hired directly by EPAM & 100% under payroll- Law benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, 25% vacation bonus)- Major medical expenses insurance: Life, Major medical expenses with dental & visual coverage (for the employee and direct family members)- 13 % employee savings fund, capped to the law limit- Grocery coupons- 30 days December bonus- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- 12 vacations days plus 4 floating days- Official Mexican holidays, plus 5 extra holidays (Maundry Thursday and Friday, November 2nd, December 24th & 31st)- Monthly non-taxable amount for the electricity and internet billsEPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
