Responsibilities The Opportunity We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer with expertise in full stack development, DevOps practices, and AI/ML technologies to integrate AI/ML solutions into R&D digital products. This role is pivotal in establishing robust CI/CD pipelines and managing AI/ML solution deployment processes on Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless integration of AI/ML capabilities into PepsiCo cloud infrastructure. Your Impact As Sr AI Engineer your scope would consist of Frontend Responsibilities Developing User Interfaces: Designing and implementing intuitive and engaging user interfaces using React and JavaScript. Integrating AI/ML Features: Incorporating AI/ML functionalities into the frontend to enhance user experience, such as chatbots, recommendation systems, and data visualization. Backend Responsibilities Server and Database Management: Developing and maintaining servers and databases to ensure functionality and efficiency. API Development: Designing and implementing APIs for communication between frontend and backend systems, including AI model endpoints. Data Management: Handling data storage, retrieval, and manipulation using SQL and NoSQL databases. DevOps and AI/ML specific Responsibilities CI/CD Pipelines: Establishing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate testing and deployment. Cloud Deployment: Managing deployment processes on Azure cloud platforms. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring application performance and implementing updates and fixes as needed. Developing AI/ML Models: Designing, training, and deploying AI/ML models to solve specific problems, such as rule based engine, natural language processing, and computer vision. Optimizing AI/ML Algorithms: Fine‑tuning AI/ML algorithms for performance, scalability, and accuracy. Integrating AI/ML Solutions: Seamlessly integrating AI/ML models into the overall application architecture. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? 1. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (Dash & Flask frameworks), Java, PySpark, and SQL. 2. Proficiency with version control systems (Git). 3. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. 4. Familiarity with RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming. 5. Hands‑on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. 6. Proven experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools. 7. Strong understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, particularly in an Azure context (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service). 8. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and deployment strategies tailored for Azure environments. 9. Two plus year of work experience in AI, specializing in the implementation of AI and Generative AI solutions. 10. Proficiency in leading GenAI technologies, including but not limited to Hugging Face, LangChain, and OpenAI. 11. Hands‑on experience in developing RAG chatbots to enhance information discovery and search efficiency. 12. Work experience in building and deploying AI Agent applications.
