As Sr Financial Analyst you will be Provide direct support to the Plant Controller by accomplishing a variety of accounting and project management tasks, including- Processing and managing journal entries.- Reviewing and analyzing actual financial information related to monthly financial reviews and forecasts.- Managing fixed asset accounting.- Overseeing balance sheet account management.- Ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.- Developing processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and value of the accounting department.**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- Support manufacturing operations by reviewing various aspects of plant operations, including manpower analysis, trend analysis, and inventory management.- Analyze capital projects, monitor open projects, follow up for capitalization, and track savings.- Ensure compliance with all SOX and Corporate Audit requirements.- Prepare inventory reports daily/weekly and manage inventory dispositions.- Assist with annual physical inventory preparations and post-analysis.- Ensure on-time completion of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirements.- Participate in month-end closing and forecast processes.- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.- Assist with the annual profit planning process.- Support and/or participate in Continuous Improvement Activities such as Kaizen, Ideas Programs, and cost-out initiatives.- Participate and provide support in cost-out and continuous improvement projects.- Provide weekly spending reports and develop reduction strategies.- Ensure activities comply with the Quality Management System (ISO-9001 and IATF16949) and align with the strategic direction of the organization.- Ensure Quality Management System requirements and resources are fully integrated within all business processes.- Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and oversee the execution, inspection, and monitoring of work when scheduling suppliers/contractors at the plant premises.**Background & Skills**-- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.- 3+ years of experience in a Maquiladora in a similar position.- Experience with SAP system and ERP general processes.
