**JOB SUMMARY**:Responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the country by preparing customs data, tracking shipments. This job requires attention to detail and an understanding of international trade regulations and customs laws. Oversees the managing customs clearance, preparing shipping documents, and resolving any issues that arise during the transportation process. You will work closely with customers to ensure all deliveries are prepared in accordance with the customer’s requirements and all documentation is prepared correctly.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and in compliance with international trade regulations.- Prepare various international shipping documents such as declaration documentation in accordance with a foreign country’s import/export laws, packing lists and shipping invoices.- Provide support to the import and export teams by managing documentation and communicating with carriers, customs agents, and other stakeholders.- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.- Resolve any issues, which could result in the shipments being delayed as well as manage both internal and external customers if delays do occur.- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.- Stay up to date with changing regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance and minimize risk.- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of goods.- Prepare reports to assist with decision-making.**Education/Experience**:- BS Degree in related field- Basic experience in customs, maquiladora (IMMEX program preferred) or broker activities- Basic and General Customs and Tax regulation- Customs and shipping software knowledge- English Fluency- PC literate, MSOfficeTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $13,000.00 - $15,000.00 al mesHorario:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horas- Turno matutinoPrestaciones:- Opción a contrato indefinido- Servicio de comedor con descuento- Uniformes gratuitos- Vales de despensaEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Experiência:- Import/Exports: 2 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: In person
