We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.- “At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member._- Our paid leave package is at the forefront in Mexico, now you have one more reason to be HSBC and proudly live a culture of well-being, balance and car care”_We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Test Engineering**The Test Engineering job is responsible for requirements, traceability, tooling, designing, automating and executing test strategies and test plans for Products/Services**Principal responsibilities**- Ensure the proper use of the testing processes, practices, standards, and policies- Participate in the creation of test strategy and test plan- Provide support to the Test Lead for planning of testing activities- Provide progress reports (execution and defect status) to the Test Lead, TM, and Project Manager as required- Design test scenarios, test cases and test scripts as required -Peer review test cases, scripts and test plans- Develop and maintain test documentation- Maintain traceability between test cases, test scripts and requirements- Sequence tests based on the flow of business process to be tested- Setup transactional data for the tests, as required- Execute test scripts based on the plan and sequence of testing- Systematically identify and log defects in the defect tracker and track to resolution, recommending solutions, document and track corrective action- Setup data for re-testing, and re-test defect fixes- Track and close defects after re-testing them- Escalates risks and issues as neededRequirements**Calificaciones - Externas**- Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within one discipline- Management responsibilities for a sizeable team of professionals (including responsibility for budget, and planning)- Covers a wide range of activities that require evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated perhaps novel situations- Latitude to make decisions outside of established procedures but within a policy framework.
