Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Commodity Manager Indirect located in Guadalajara, North CampusReporting to the Director, Commodity Management Indirect the Commodity Manager Indirect role is Responsible for building internal relationships and developing indirect material sourcing and supply base strategies, participating in developing processes to effectively control spending in the Indirect Procurement commodities and scale to support anticipated growth along with the corporation.To standardize indirect commodities, development and management of supply chain relationships, and drive further site cost reductions across the Flex portfolio through Supply Chain consolidation and development of cost savings strategies.What a typical day looks like:- Responsible for supporting indirect material sourcing and supply base management strategies and policies. Participate and provide direction in the development of preferred suppliers working closely with regional and global teams.- Work closely with regional and global teams to develop strategies that will drive synergy savings.- Implement and communicate strategic and preferred commodity plans designed to meet site performance goals- Meet or exceed published cost reduction goals with agreed-to time frames, establish long-term relationships that benefit Flex worldwide.- Monitor current market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply-demand trends.- Work with site purchasing managers to develop the scope of work for services to optimize project costs by implementing approved quotation process.- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex estimating and/or procurement assignments.- Work closely with regional teams and with site NPP and MRO teams to develop strategies that will drive synergies savings across the sites.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- Fluent English- knowledge in MRO purchasing- Advanced Excel.- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or similar.- of Facilities/CAPEX procurement experience is required.- Advanced analytical, project management and negotiations skills and experience required.- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sourcing projects and with mínimal oversight.- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing- Experience in sourcing, negotiating and managing service agreementsWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary- Life & Medical insurance- Christmas Bonus- Food Coupons- Saving Fund.- Life InsurancePA91Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:
