An US-based international firm of 60 accountants seeks a full-time payroll specialist for the following tasks.**Responsibilities**:- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on schedule.- Set up payroll systems for new clients, ensuring proper onboarding and integration.- Collect and verify employee data, including hours, bonuses, commissions, and benefits deductions.- Ensure all payroll processes comply with federal, state, and local laws.- Generate payroll-related reports for clients and provide them with insights as needed.- Address payroll-related inquiries from clients and provide support for payroll adjustments or discrepancies.- Work with our tax and audit teams to support client financial reporting and compliance.- Assist with the preparation of W-2s and 1099s.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or at least 2 years of experience in payroll.- Prior working experience with payroll and payroll systems- Experience with Gusto and other payroll systemsMust be flexible to work longer hours during deadlines.Pay: $20,400.00 per month
