The Materials Planner analyzes Lists of Raw Materials, purchased parts and equipment needed.Main Funtions:1. Analyzes Inventory levels of the Raw Materials assigned to purchase parts or equipments needed in the manufacture of finished goods.2. Requires analytical skills to develop appropriate procedures, and can use the computer at theprogramming level.3. Schedules deliveries based on Production Forecasts, Market Conditions, MaterialSubstitutions, Production Line as well as Storage and Handling Capacities.4. Reviews material lists for Compliance to the Company’s Standard Practices in regards to partsand materials used.5. Prepares or authorizes timely requisitions to the purchasing department for Raw Materials andParts.6. Expedites and De-Expedite Purchases in Response to Changes in the Forecast.7.
