**Software Engineer V**- _**Resume must be in English**_- _**Compensation Expectation is required**_- _**Bilingual English/Spanish - role works with both MER and US based Employees**_**Position Summary**:**Essential Job Functions**:- Brings Technical and Functional knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Warehouse Management and Procurement systems- Provide IT guidance and advice to company personnel and management in order to support company mission and business strategy within the limits of company policies and procedures.- Researches, analyzes, plans, coordinates, installs and applies upgrades to packaged system software.- Adheres to IT policies. Develops and recommends procedures, standards and guidelines to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations.- Responds to on-call emergencies as needed.- Communicates and interacts effectively with all IT staff and other departments as needed.- Perform other duties as required.**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS**:- Must have JDEdwards technical and functional expertise- Excellent knowledge of:- _OMW, Data Dictionary Items and Smart Fields_- _Table and Business View Design_- _Interactive Applications_- _Advanced Report Writing/ One View Reporting_- _Workflow & Distribution Lists _- _Strong Debugging skills_- Good Knowledge of Database and SQL Queries- Good understanding on JDE modules Finance, Accounting, Warehouse / Inventory/Procurement.- Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to learn.- Has well-developed leadership and project management skills- Good written and verbal communication skills.**Education/Experience**:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related required- Minimum of 6 years programming experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience- Minimum 4 years of experience working with JD Edwards ERP system with modules Finance/Accounting/Warehouse/Inventory and ProcurementNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.- Balfour & Co. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
