Lead Engineer

We are looking for a Senior or Lead Backend Go Developer to join one of our engineering teams and play a key role in designing, building, and owning backend systems. This role emphasizes strong backend fundamentals and full ownership of services—from design to production support. You will be expected to guide technically: proposing solutions, making architectural decisions, and raising the bar for code quality and system reliability. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang , with a focus on scalability and reliability. Build and evolve microservices-based architectures . Take full ownership of services across the entire development lifecycle (design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems. Participate in architectural discussions and drive technical decisions. Work with asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka or similar event-driven messaging technologies. Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and security. Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis. Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional software development experience , with a strong backend focus. Advanced experience with Golang in production environments. Solid experience designing and working with microservices . Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming / messaging systems . Advanced English proficiency , both written and spoken. Ability to work independently and take full ownership end-to-end . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills . Nice to Have Experience with Ruby or other backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js). Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks (foundational knowledge is sufficient). Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
