FBS Underwriting Inspections Representative Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico About FBS – Farmer Business Services, a part of Farmers operations, works to recruit, hire, and retain top talent worldwide, partnering with Capgemini as Employer of Record to manage payroll and benefits. The FBS Underwriting Inspections team reviews inspection findings from outside vendors, determines repair or outcome decisions, and evaluates the cost components for home replacement. Responsibilities Evaluate and determine eligibility for new and renewal home policies using current acceptable maintenance & condition expectations (AMCE) and underwriting judgment based on physical inspections, aerial imagery, and other data sources. Validate home replacement cost accuracy submitted by the agency and the inspection vendor to ensure correct risk classification and update policies accordingly. Respond to agents, customers, and licensed staff inquiries via chat or email regarding inspection decisions, general questions, and AMCE underwriting concerns. Share observations, insights, and learnings on underwriting new and renewal inspections and replacement cost evaluations with underwriting and product leadership to inform future guidelines. Participate in calibration sessions, business review meetings, and underwriting business meetings to build personal and team skill sets. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred). Experience in the insurance industry required. Proficient with CRM platforms such as Guidewire for managing inspections and customer data. Strong MS Excel skills. Fluency in English.
