Opex Director

We are seeking an experienced Opex Director with a strong background in Lean Systems and OPEX activities.

• 5-10 years of plant management experience, preferably in the automotive and other industries.
• 10 years of experience leading Opex activities.
• Willingness to travel 40% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or other relevant fields.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with plant personnel and upper management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to support lean training, report generation, data analysis, and Excel/PowerPoint presentations.
• Formal qualifications in Lean and Six Sigma and experience leading OPEX initiatives.

• Extensive experience at a regional or global level within a large organization, working across different cultures.
• Proven experience developing people and delivering improvements within manufacturing, supply chain, and quality organizations.
• Experience in cost management and leading operations for multinational companies.
• Proven experience in developing people and delivering improvements using value stream deployment.

• Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization; highly motivated and persistent in pursuing change.

• Experienced in developing effective internal and external change communications.
• Ability to network externally to enhance knowledge within APTIV.
• Exceptional team player, adept at motivating co-workers.
• Strong project management skills.
