We are constantly improving our operations and looking for new ways to meet our customer’s needs through continuous improvement.**General Job Description**:We are looking for a motivated individual looking to advance their career in a fast-paced manufacturing company.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Generate purchase orders for raw materials and/or customer specific commodities- Utilizing Epicor (ERP system) validate pricing and delivery needs, per job requirements.- Manage OEM and revision controlled commodities.- Routinely interact with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.- Work with suppliers to meet PO change request for job pull-ins/push-outs.- Expedite part shipments and deliveries when required.- Routinely interact with Program Managers, CSR’s, and Sales team to ensure purchase decisions align with customer projects and forecasts.- Source alternative suppliers for best pricing and lead times.- Examine contracts, and negotiate cost reductions.- Monitor supplier performance.**Education, Training, and Experience**:- High School diploma or equivalent Required- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred- 3 years’ experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management- Experience in the Manufacturing industry (preferred)**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.- Experience with an ERP/MRP system, such as Epicor, Oracle, or SAP.- Professional communication skills, both written and oral.- Strong analytical, numerical, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, "thinking outside the box" when necessary.- Effective time-management skills to meet deadlines.- Proven ability to plan and coordinate with other departments as needed.- Must be able to speak EnglishResume must be submitted in English to be considered for the position.Ability to commute/relocate:- El Salto, Jal.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Language**:- English (preferred)
