DescriptionThe ADAS Test and Validation management area is looking to strengthen its position for the future and is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quote Engineer to lead these activities.The Test and Validation Quote Engineer is responsible for tracking, reviewing and properly documenting all quote efforts and costs defined for our products and systems. They will actively participate in both internal and external strategic conversations in order to determine the best product for the customer needs. You’ll lead and coordinate all domain quoting activities for Test and Validation North America while collaborating with ADAS worldwide to make Autonomous Mobility happen.ADAS is currently developing products that enable Full-Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Controls, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Object Detection and Collision Mitigation Systems.Core Responsibilities:- Responsible to track, review and properly document all quote efforts & costs defined for our products and systems. The tasks encompass all the requirements that are submitted to the department within the scope of the quote- Coordinate with other customer projects, technologies, teams and other locations worldwide, to further develop quoting capabilities in North America, including new methods/ models/ tools- Responsible to identify costs related to quoting activities such as FOT/ data storage/ tools/ project specific costs- Ability to identify any risks and capturing any assumptions in relation to the quote- Reporting of quote status and progress within the T & V organization and implement new reporting methods and tools- Development/ modifications of T & V cost models, for the consistent and fast evaluation of standard quotes- Documentation of the scope offered by T & V- Responsible contact person for all quote issues addressed to the department- Exchange and active cooperation with the engineering quote team- Responsible for the evaluation of customer requirements with regards to costs and feasibility and escalate to management as necessary- Support of the customer centers and quote teams with technical questions at the OEM, especially during the acquisition and during technical reviews with customers. Create/support and conduct presentations in the Group, the OEM- Responsible for the correct and timely execution of all quote requests- Strategic development of the product creation process- Support the offer preparation process- Roll out processes and standards as well as support for worldwide activities in system test management- Support the entire T&V organization in various capacities, when quoting activity workload is mínimal- Strong understanding of the processes in Test & Validation and overall ADAS/ Continental processes- Understanding the competencies in multiple regions and the work packages the regions can/ cannot support.**Qualifications**:Required Qualifications:Bachelors of Science in an Engineering degree (Computer Science, Electrical)2 years of Test and Validation Experience (ex. SW, Product, Vehicle, Algorithm, HW Testing)Good communication skills within the team, internal & external customers a mustExperience with project planning, budgeting of projects, or resource (manpower) planningProficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Microsoft Project) and other organizational tools.Good logical problem solver; good attention to detail.Knowledge of vehicle and bench test methods, techniques, and tools along with costs associated to themSystem test methodsCapability to analyze technical problemsCapability to develop test strategies for functions which are new to the industryMust be very dynamic with changes/ adjustments to the quote directionCapability to take initiative to solve issues with little or no direction and able to work independentlyPreferred Qualifications and Desired Competencies:5+ years of Test and Validation Experience (ex.
