⚡ Controls / IGNITION SCADA Engineer – Utility-Scale Solar (Remote) Our client is a fast-growing clean energy technology company transforming utility-scale solar through digitalization and automation . They are looking for a Controls / SCADA Engineer to support the design, integration, and commissioning of advanced monitoring and control systems for solar, BESS, and hybrid power plants worldwide. Why this role Work on large-scale solar & storage projects with real grid impact High technical exposure: SCADA, PPC, RTUs, PLCs, Ignition Remote position with limited travel (20–30%) Be part of a mission-driven team accelerating the energy transition Must-haves Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar (controls focus preferred) Hands-on Ignition SCADA experience (Core certified strongly preferred) PLC programming experience (IEC 61131-3, Structured Text, Function Blocks) Field commissioning experience (solar, power plants, substations, industrial) Strong knowledge of industrial networks & protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC-UA) Comfortable working across multiple projects and with external stakeholders Great opportunity for an engineer who wants technical depth, autonomy, and impact in renewable energy.
