To strengthen our agile multidisciplinary teams, we are looking for passionate, curiosity-driven and innovative people.We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Optical Engineer with good programming experience, responsible to support the team in laser and optical topics, development and integration of algorithms based ADAS functions on specific HW. Basic understanding of radiometric concepts, geometric optics.The Lidar Algorithms Engineer needs to have a good knowledge of the ADAS lidar function requirements, as long as the constraints of the development of embedded image/signal processing algorithms, and he/she will be responsible to define the necessary integration and development activities as long as the necessary verification steps for computer vision processing features.**Activities**:- Characterize/develop algorithms taking into a consideration the systems specifications such as field of illumination, field of view, beam divergence, parallax, non-linearity of the optical receiver (ROIC).- Participate in the definition of algorithm technical concepts, image processing and computer vision technologies.- Develop, integrate and test Lidar based ADAS functions and algorithms.- Test and Validate SW developments based on quality process of the projects.**Qualifications**:Basic Qualifications› Bachelor’s degree/Master Degree in Optical Engineering/Physics or equivalent degree or experience.› Good C/C++ programming skills.› Fluent English (TOEIC Level 700+)› Proactive, resilient, flexible and results oriented attitude› Analytical capabilities and good Communication skills› Strong teamwork and cooperationPreferred Qualifications›M.S./Ph.D. in Optical Engineering/Embedded SW/Physics or equivalent degree or experience.›Fluent communication in English (TOEIC 900+).›Excellent C/C++ programming skills.›Experience in Python.›Practical experience in LiDAR.›Practical experience in 2D Signal Processing, 3D Point Cloud Processing, Image processing, Computer Vision.›Experience working with Agile Framework.**Benefits**:GehaltsbonusMitarbeiter werben MitarbeiterFlexible ArbeitszeitenKarriereberatung und TrainingsangebotReisekostenzulageKantineGesundheitsvorsorgeLebensversicherungAbout usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
