Client: Our client is one of the largest airlines in South America.- Position overview: The Advanced Analytics Management team is seeking its next Analytics Translator to join a dynamic squad and work closely with various stakeholders involved in the execution of analytics initiatives.- This role will work directly with the Product Owner, leveraging expertise in data analysis and product management to ensure decision-making is guided towards maximizing value creation and business impact.- The Analytics Translator will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, identifying opportunities, defining value metrics, and ensuring that data products and machine learning models are designed with clear business relevance and can be easily understood by non-technical audiences.- Responsibilities: Identify and gather business opportunities and needs from data product stakeholders through exploratory analysis.- Define expected value metrics and understand the operational processes influenced by these metrics.- Design and execute pilots or test actions to validate models and hypotheses.- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists (DS) and Machine Learning Engineers (MLE) to provide business context to proposed models, ensuring they are simple to explain to non-expert audiences.- Translate analytical insights into clear and actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.- Communicate progress, results, and insights effectively to both the squad and stakeholders, maintaining strong business relationships.- Monitor and report on the adoption and measurable impact of implemented analytics solutions.- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Exact Sciences, or related fields.- 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.- Strong proficiency in SQL (mandatory).- Proven experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and translating analytical outputs into business value.- Strong skills in data storytelling, critical thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen.- Intermediate or higher proficiency in English (written and spoken)- Nice to have: Experience with GCP, BigQuery, and/or Python (nice to have).- Familiarity with Looker Studio or other data visualization tools.- Knowledge of data modeling and product lifecycle management.- Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and adapt quickly to changing priorities
