Cloud Engineer, App Modernization, Google Cloud

**Minimum qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.- 3 years of experience in project managing and delivering technical solutions.- Experience with architecting, developing, and maintaining technical solutions by leveraging virtual machines, containers (e.g., Kubernetes/GKE), Serverless Computing, or Software Defined Networking (SDN).- Experience working in a cloud computing environment (i.e., infrastructure, storage, platforms or data).- Experience with software development in Java, C++, or Golang, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.**Preferred qualifications**:- Experience with customer-facing migrations, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.- Experience with Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), or Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).- Experience in systems design with an ability to architect or explain systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs, and methods available.- Experience or interest in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem solving skills.**About the job**:The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey to help businesses thrive.
