Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Engineer to join our team at our Monterey, Mexico location. As a Logistics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management, and improving warehouse and material flow processes.**Responsibilities**:- Analyze existing logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement logistics strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives.- Conduct data analysis, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize material flow, inventory management, and distribution processes.- Perform capacity planning, transportation analysis, and network optimization to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance and monitor progress against targets.- Implement and manage the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodology to improve inventory accuracy, reduce stockouts, and minimize lead times.- Utilize advanced software tools and systems to track, monitor, and manage logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain effective partnerships, negotiate contracts, and manage transportation services.- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and health and safety standards.- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. (Preferred but not required at this time)- Proven experience working in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on warehouse operations, material flow, and transportation.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and propose actionable solutions.- Proficiency in logistics software, data analysis tools, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Knowledge of Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodology and its implementation is highly desirable.- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and health and safety standards.- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
