Software Engineering is the corner stone of scalable digital transformation across PepsiCo’s value chain. This leader will deliver the end-to-end software development experience, deliver high quality software as part of the DevOps process, and have accountability for our business operations.We are seeking a skilled and strategic Software Engineering Manager with a focus on SaaS vendor management to lead a team responsible for integrating, maintaining, and optimizing third-party SaaS platforms and services. This role blends strong technical leadership with vendor relationship management, ensuring that our SaaS ecosystem aligns with business goals, security standards, performance expectations and prioritize solutions across S&T core priorities.**Your Impact**As Manager of Software Engineering your responsibilities would consist of:1. Lead a team of engineers responsible for integrating and managing third-party SaaS platforms across the organization.2. Oversee the technical design and implementation of SaaS integrations with internal systems and services.3. Serve as the primary technical liaison between engineering and external SaaS vendors.4. Establish and manage SLAs, performance metrics, and compliance requirements with vendors.5. Collaborate with IT, security, procurement, and legal teams to evaluate and onboard SaaS solutions.6. Identify opportunities for automation and optimization across vendor services and workflows.7. Manage the full lifecycle of vendor-related projects—from selection and evaluation to integration and ongoing maintenance.8. Ensure data governance, privacy, and security standards are upheld across SaaS platforms.9. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.10. Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership, including risk assessments and vendor performance insights.11. Drive partnerships with User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics, Emerging Tech, Innovation, and Process Engineering teams to deliver the Digital Products portfolio12. Develop software development strategy utilizing industry standards. Create roadmap and timing of implementation of the roadmap based on business requirements and strategy.13. Develop and expand DPA capabilities through a customer obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform that leverages data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences14. Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the engineering initiatives to the stakeholders15. Interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that best meet the strategic needs of the businessQualifications:**Who Are We Looking For?****Education**- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.**Experience**- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a people management role.- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, and integration strategies.- Proven experience managing SaaS vendor relationships and negotiating technical requirements.- Experience leading cross-functional teams in an agile/scrum environment.- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, performance tuning, and security best practices.- Experience with Salesforce CG cloud preferred- Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems- Experience with high throughput cloud native distributed systems- Full stack engineering experience- Excellent project management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align technical execution with business goals.**What can you expect from us**:- Opportunities to learn and develop every day through a wide range of programs.
