Functional Validation Intern

You will be offered to work on exciting projects to validate the newest Intel processors for servers. You will gain hands-on experience working on technologies that will be available in 2 years from today.**As an Intern, you will learn and be exposed to**:- Culture discipline working at cutting edge technology company.- Intel, the #1 in the semiconductor industry.- Knowledge of Product life cycle.- Use tools to generate test content that will be used globally.- Software and scripts development while using formal Configuration management.- Knowledge of Computer architecture and cutting edge technologies.- Knowledge of network protocols and connectivity.- Participate in regular staff meetings.- Time effort estimation on real-world tasks.**Responsibilities**:- Create new test content to validate system-on-chip solutions.- Participate in peer review meetings.- Contact experts to learn about new technologies and tools.- Provide weekly updates.**Qualifications**Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience.**Minimum Qualifications**:- BS/MS/Ph.D. active student in Electronics Engineer, Systems Engineer, Computer Engineer, or similar engineering area.- At least 50 percent of bachelor's degree courses are approved.- Computer architecture basic courses completed.- Intermediate+ English communications.- 6-month experience in programming skills: C/C++.- 3+ months experience in hardware debug capabilities using instruments like Scope and Multimeter.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Programming skills in Python and scripting.- Experience using Logic Analyzer or Protocol Analyzer.- Digital Design knowledge (VHDL/Verilog).- Server and SoC architectures.**Inside this Business Group**In the Design Engineering Group (DEG), we take pride in developing the best-in-class SOCs, Cores, and IPs that power Intel’s products.
