Requisition ID: 26152- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXDanfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Technology (MT) Manager for our production site in Monterrey, Mexico within Refrigeration and Air conditioning (RAC) business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of manufacturing processes within the scope of production technology.**Responsibilities**:You will be leading a team of 9 MT engineers and 10 process technicians who are supporting daily operations, technology improvement projects and New Product Developments, as well as our manager for Maintenance. The maintenance team consist of 1 maintenance engineer and 30 maintenance technicians. You will report directly to Head of Operations and be a member of factory management team.You will work closely with production, engineering and our Global Manufacturing team. By managing your MT Team, you will develop, motivate and improve employees’ performance through coaching, training and continuous improvement activities to assure operational excellence.We expect you to take an integral role in developing our Manufacturing Strategy and executing the strategy in time to meet our growth and performance targets.You will be continuously driving IATF16949 (Quality Standard) improvements, driving digitalization, IoT and automation projects, optimizing the production set-up, developing technologies and equipment, and contributing to new product development projects.**Background & Skills**:To be considered for this position, you must be an experienced leader. Digitalization and Industry 4.0 on shop floors is well-known to you. You have experience working with predictive and preventive maintenance, and you have a technical background as a Mechanical Engineer or Technician. Experience in manufacturing processes related to refrigeration and air-conditioning production is a plus.Personal drive and a proactive mindset which allow you to stay ahead of the curve - still you should also be pragmatic in acting and thinking.Experience with developing, improving and innovating production technologyIn depth experience in digitalization, Industry 4.0 and automation for manufacturing processesExperience in automotive process requirements and quality standards is a plusGood at managing complex CAPEX projects and meeting deadlines.Ability and desire to develop your team and drive for a high-performance cultureGood listening skills and the ability to ask the right questions and act as a trusted advisor.Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.**Danfoss - Engineering Tomorrow**:At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
