If you are eager to leverage your knowledge, whilst learning new skills, we want to hear from you**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:- Contributing to the development of sustainable production processes for bio-monomers.- Performing lab-scale synthesis, up-scaling, characterization experiments and contribute to their optimization.- Analyzing, processing and demonstrating results in reports and internal meetings.- Contributing to the transfer of lab-scale results to the pilot scale.- Supporting pilot-scale trials in the field of bio-monomer and -polymer production.**To succeed in this role, you will need**:- To be an excellent (final year) master’s or PhD student with a major in chemistry, material science, chemical engineering or biomedical engineering along with experience in (bio-)polymer chemistry.- A strong background in conducting organic synthesis as well as knowledge of polymerization and depolymerization processes.- Experience with relevant analytical equipment (HPLC, GC, GPC, titrations).- Know-how of process design and separation technologies is regarded as an advantage.- Fluency in English.
