**Job Summary****Responsibilities**- Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure the highest quality of software deliverables.- Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.- Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.- Manage test and defect management processes using Jira to track and resolve issues effectively.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within Agile methodologies.- Utilize Ruby for scripting and automation tasks to streamline testing processes.- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by identifying and prioritizing test scenarios based on risk and impact.- Conduct regular reviews of test cases and scripts to ensure they meet the required standards and best practices.- Mentor and guide junior testers to enhance their skills and knowledge in test automation and management.- Coordinate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on potential issues.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and tools.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in test automation and management.**Qualifications**- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation test metrics and reporting and test and defect management.- Demonstrate proficiency in using Jira for test and defect management.- Exhibit expertise in scripting and automation using Ruby.- Show domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance (nice to have).- Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.- Hold a relevant certification in software testing or test automation (e.g. ISTQB Certified Agile Tester).**Certifications Required**ISTQB
