The Position
Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:
- Customer screening against global watch lists
- Review of transactions to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Identification of transactions requiring further due diligence and escalation
- Providing input to leadership for process improvements
Specific responsibilities:
- Strong application and data analysis skills.
- Assist with internal audits and data gathering
- Conduct process audits to ensure compliance
- Develop and continually improve business processes by assisting with process audits and Practical Process Improvement (PPI) projects
Requirements:
- High School education preferably with technical base or administration, logistics or equivalent.
- Proficient written and spoken English, previous work experience with international team
- Proficient with MS Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word)
- Good communication skills - understand issues and to be able to formulate and articulate the most appropriate solutions to resolve them
- Have the ability to positively influence team / colleagues and customers in a professional manner
- Maintains strict adherence to processes and rules.
- Detail oriented, quality and process driven, pro-active, good problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced matrix environment
- Able to work independently and as a member of a diverse team
- Able to prioritize and move with efficiency between tasks to meet changing demands, eager to learn on the job and take initiative for additional training and advancement
- Endurance, social skills and diplomacy with internal and external customers
