**Position Summary**- The Distribution Center Analyst is an internal consultant for AutoZone’s DC reverse logistics and administration team. Is responsible for Distribution Center Metrics reporting and analysis as well as creation of content for presentations.**Key Responsibilities**- Handles day-to-day and weekly metrics/KPI reporting. Must work cross functionally to ensure all reports are sent in a scheduled timely manner and have analytical skills to trouble shoot reports and data requests as needed. Includes heavy data analysis, inventory analysis, and strong operational and Supply Chain systems understanding.- Analyzes and identifies opportunities for process improvement, able to create systematic solutions to automate manual tasks and create high performance reporting that is accurately and consistently delivered.- Analytical skills needed include effective understanding of all DC Operating systems and heavy use of all Microsoft Office suite (Strong Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and Microsoft Project Planner).- Other duties as assigned.**Supervisory Responsibilities**- None**Education and/or Experience**- **Level of formal education**: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent- **Area of study**: Direct work experience in Business or Supply Chain, and/or relevant business-related fields- **Years of experience**: 3-5 years- Proven record of strong organizational and detailed analytics skills required- **Type of experience**: Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Microsoft Project Planner), SQL, VBA. Fluent in English communication.- **Other/preferred**:Python, SAS and Google Analytics
