Chief Financial Officer Role The CFO is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities under divisional responsibility including direct responsibility for technical accounting, management reporting, FP&A, strategic planning, cost control and budget, contract analysis and as a partner with compliance. Works in tandem with the executive team to analyze quarterly results and to coordinate operating and strategic planning. Utilizes resources in a manner that respects applicable budgets and ensures efficiency of all processes. Core Responsibilities Act as key strategic leader and member of senior management Management oversight of accounting, systems, budgeting, planning, and forecasting Direct accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Coordinate Divisional reporting requirements with all insurance CFOs across the Insurance Division Produces timely and consistently quarterly and annual financial reports Handles responsibility in a timely manner for all accounting, auditing, and finance related compliance functions Coordinates the annual structure of assumed and retrocessional insurance to optimize capital usage, profitability, and tax compliance within legal entities Monitor and optimize rating capital for the Insurance Division Key role in management of regulatory, rating agency, and Board of Directors reporting and communication functions Manage the relationship with independent auditors Ensure optimal deployment of personnel, resources and systems in the finance domain including recommending improvements to ensure the company’s financial information is delivered best in class both in terms of quality and timing Collaborate and support on technology decisions Oversight of financial system implementations and upgrades Support in managing relationships with investors and investment institutions as needed Responsible for headcount administration with HR on behalf of the Chile office Qualifications 15+ years of Finance experience 10+ years of leadership experience Exceptional oral and written communication with the ability to concisely provide executive summaries to senior management Strong problem‑solving analytical skills, with an ability to drive data analytics and make appropriate conclusions on results Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines across a variety of stakeholders to meet targets and deliverable dates Employment Details Type: Regular Time Type: Full time Primary Location: Mexico City, Mexico Company Culture Collaboration: Open and transparent communication with customers and colleagues Thoughtful Assumption of Risk: Supporting the Everest goal of carefully writing profitable business by ensuring data quality, prompt and accurate feedback to Underwriters, and operational control throughout the enterprise.
