**COLUMBUS INDUSTRIES****Solicita**:**Supplier Quality Engineer****Descripción y Requisitos****REPORTS TO**: Supplier Quality Manager***:Responsible for ensuring materials meet technical specifications and to ensure materials are acceptable for production use.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:- Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policies- Maintain & manage IQC Systems, Procedures, & functions for all incoming raw materials- Notify Supplier Quality Manager of any needed changes to product specifications or IQC documents as well as aid in writing missing IQC specifications and or procedures as needed.- Maintain IQC records per company policies.- Oversee QCHOLD management of raw materials.- Work on daily basis with Production, Quality & Purchasing staff on quality issues of raw materials.- Oversee, manage & maintain Defective Material Report systems:- Lead MRB reviews of all raw materials placed in QCHOLD.- Identifying and arrange containment / spot audits of additional materials within CI Branch Plants that may also be affected.- Writing and issuing of DMR’s to suppliers.- Maintain DMR records, log, & KPI’s.- Submit weekly DMR summary report to Supplier Quality Manager.- Collect data for capability studies of raw material issues (as needed)- Assist in FIFO management of Juarez & El Paso raw materials.- Other duties as required, assigned or needed**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:- Degree in a Technical Field (preferably Quality or Engineering) or 5 years’ experience in a Quality role.- Ability to interpret technical standards and convert into procedures- Bi-Lingual: English and Spanish- Strong statistical analysis capabilities- Ability to work with little supervision- Ability to work with basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometer, tape measure,)- Ability to travel a minimum of 1 day a week between our Juarez, Mexico & El Paso, Texas facilities + local suppliers in Juarez / El Paso as needed.- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point- Must be able to lift 35 pounds- Standing for an 8-hour shift- Forklift certified or ability to acquire certification.Puesto: Calidad**Información Adicional**- Tipo de contrato: Permanente- Salario: $30,000.00 Pesos- Pais: MEXICO- Estado o Region: Chihuahua- Ciudad: Ciudad Juarez
