Responsible for developing and documenting accounting policies, procedures, control processes, and financials.- Manages and analyzes activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control financial resources and compliance with regulations, laws, and reporting activities.- Prepares, examines, and conforms to procedures for general ledger preparation and project and / or government accounting activities.- Performs monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure timely completion and accuracy.- Develops and documents accounting policies, procedures, control processes, and financials.- Prepares budgets and forecasts and compares budget to actual costs, ensuring that budgets are adhered to.- Analyzes business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations in order to accurately represent financial standing.- Supports internal and external audits for process compliance and timely completion.- Leads small scale projects.**Minimum Requirements**Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experiencePractical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.University Degree or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience.OR An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.Advanced English.**Carrier is An Equal**Opportunity/Affirmative** Action Employer.
