**Design Engineer - Senior Level****Job Summary**: The Senior Design Engineer applies advanced engineering principles to lead critical tasks in the design, development, and enhancement of existing products and processes. They serve as a key technical expert within the engineering department, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.**Minimum Qualifications & Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.- 6+ years of experience in engineering roles.- Ability to travel as required, up to 50%.- Proficiency in both written and spoken communication, with a bilingual proficiency of at least 90%.- Expertise in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion, with proficiency in Surfacing CAD, 2D Drafting or Technical Drawings, and Calipers measuring knowledge.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:- Lead critical tasks in the design, development, and modification of projects, utilizing advanced engineering concepts, procedures, and practices.- Conduct research on new materials and development methods to support design engineering projects.- Evaluate products, parts, and processes for cost efficiency and reliability.- Create models (prototypes) of products and processes for evaluation purposes.- Maintain and generate reports from manufacturing information using appropriate documentation systems.- Produce product documentation required for user manuals, including drawing text and graphics.- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) within the engineering function.- Foster a culture of ethical practices among the team, promoting respect, tolerance, inclusion, and effective communication.- Comply with all applicable regulations and company policies, including those related to safety, ethics, and technical standards.- Promptly report any unsafe acts or conditions and propose and implement improvement actions as needed.- Provide support for any other activities required by the company.The Senior Design Engineer role represents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership position within the engineering department, driving innovation and excellence in product design and development.**Vacante en ROSARITO**:
