Senior Bookkeeper

**What We Are Looking For**:We are seeking a remote Senior Bookkeeper with significant real estate accounting and Client facing experience leveraging **Rent Manager software**. In this position you will be the main contact for our Clients, help oversee & manage the monthly bookkeeping, and ensure accuracy across a portfolio of Clients.**About us**:At REA, we're a fast-growing, technology-driven accounting company dedicated exclusively to the real estate industry. With over 85,000 units under management and a team of 150+ professionals, we provide comprehensive bookkeeping and virtual property management services to some of the largest real estate investment firms in the U.S. Our mission is to help our clients scale their businesses beyond what they imagined possible, using innovative solutions and unparalleled expertise.**Website**:**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance- Certified Public Accountant preferred (or equivalent experience)- 2 to 5 years experience working with Rent Manager (**required**)- 2 to 5 years overall experience in real estate accounting/finance, ideally at an accounting firm working on real estate clients or directly at a real estate investment/development company (**required**)- Commercial property experience (Retail, Office, Industrial) (**required**)- Ability to independently manage and complete month-end close processes, including finalizing a full set of books (**required**)- AP/AR, Bank reconciliation and Financial Report experience.- Proved experience leading Client meetings- Professional English verbal and written skills as you will be one of the points of contact for the clients **(desired)**:- Able to hit deadlines while staying calm under pressure- Extremely detail and process oriented - you strive in creating organization- Proficient with communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Clickup, Workspace)**Job duties**:- Timely client communication- Collaborate with Bookkeepers and the Client Success Director (CSD) on the team- Complete bank reconciliations, accounts payables, and accounts receivables- Answer team member questions, provide support for Client on questions- Manage and complete month-end close and report generation- New property set up, move-outs, owner draws, management fees- Ensure monthly deadlines are achieved**Location and Schedule**:This is a virtual (remote), full-time role that demands availability between 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday.- Please submit your resume in English. _Pay: $36,129.00 - $39,414.00 per month**Education**:- Bachelor's (required)**Experience**:- Real Estate Accounting industry: 2 years (required)- Commercial property experience (Retail, Office, Industrial): 2 years (required)- Rent Manager: 2 years (required)**Language**:- Professional English (required)
