Paint Shop Process Engineer

**Key Requeriments**:- Engineering degree- Availability to change shifts 4x3 (Holiday, Sundays)- Conversational English- Experience automotive, paint process- Responsible to resolve appearance and quality problems- Innovation projects- Collaborate with the quality team to identify and correct paint defects.**Responsibilities**- **Process Design and Development**:*- Select and evaluate paint materials, including primers, base coats, clear coats, and specialty coatings.- Design and optimize the layout of equipment and workstations in paint lines.- Establish and maintain critical process parameters, such as temperature, humidity, pressure, drying time, and coat thickness.- **Optimization and Continuous Improvement**:*- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, and costs.- Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize existing processes.- Research and evaluate new paint technologies and equipment for potential implementation.- Troubleshoot technical and quality issues that may arise in the paint process.- **Project Management**:*- Lead projects to implement new paint processes or equipment.- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for equipment acquisition and installation.- Develop technical documentation, including process specifications, operating manuals, and safety data sheets.- **Quality Assurance**:*- Establish and maintain quality standards for paint processes and finished products.- Develop and execute inspection and testing plans to verify paint quality.Diversity and inclusion are our strengths.
