**Position Summary**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Assess the level of risk and determine eligibility for coverage.- Develop appropriate terms, conditions, and premium rates.- Collaborate with agents and brokers to obtain missing information or clarify details.- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements.- Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and policy documentation.- Provide guidance and support to sales teams regarding underwriting practices.- Monitor and evaluate existing policies for renewal and ongoing risk.**Qualifications & Skills**:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.- Proven experience as an Insurance Underwriter (commercial, auto, life, or property lines preferred).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.- High attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.- Proficiency in underwriting software and MS Office Suite.**Preferred**:- Bilingual (English/Spanish).Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $1.00 - $2.00 al mesExperiência:- insurance underwriting: 2 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
