SAP MM/WM Lead Consultant

Lead SAP MM/WM Consultant Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP MM/WM Consultant responsible for leading SAP MM/WM implementation and support projects across various industries in Mexico. The candidate will contribute to all phases of the consulting lifecycle, from business process consulting to solution design, configuration, deployment, and client training. Responsibilities This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. It is important to mention that in some cases there will be required to participate in AMS support projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s / Engineering’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology. This position is based in Mexico (Mexico City or Monterrey – preferably). The location for this position is Mexico and will be in a hybrid mode; candidates may need to travel to office if required. At least 7 years of experience in SAP MM/WM module including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation. Domain in Purchasing, inventory, warehouse management processes, integration points with other SAP submodules, among others. Expertise in Integration processes with logistic third‑party vendors (3PL). Some knowledge in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) will be a plus for the role we are looking for. Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution. Strong hands‑on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas. Knowledge and hands‑on experience of B2b Integration and system to system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essential. Expertise in SAP AMS support projects: L2 / L3 support, incident management, CMMi (desired). Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits is essential. Experience in Process Industries, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Industry, retail, among others. Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable. Ability to read ABAP codes is required. Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces. Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements. Testing and rollout of the final product. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Be skilled in working with cross‑functional teams. Good Analytical and Communication skills. Good Planning and Co‑ordination skills. The job may entail extensive travel; require sitting or working at a computer for extended periods; should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face‑to‑face.
