The developer must have knowledge in all stages of software development.You’ll be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our platform.**What you will be doing**:Your typical day as a Toshiba **Front End Software Developer/Engineer II **will involve:**What you will be doing**:**Responsibilities**:- Assist engineers in a subset of the following areas as assigned:- Programming duties including coding, design, testing, system maintenance, building defined features, investigation/troubleshooting, and fixing/verifying defects- Resolution of technical challenges requiring a narrow scope of domain and discipline knowledge- Implementation of product and solution features, according to guidance; solutions involving enterprise-, cloud- and client-side components which may leverage Java, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks, RESTful microservices with JSON & Swagger, and relational and no-SQL databases- Work directly within the agile development team and stakeholders to help with existing requirements, adhere to timelines, and meet deliverables.- Learn about TGCS product offerings and how clients use them.- Learn about how TGCS products go from an idea to a fully-fledged product.**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field- 5+ years professional experience in software development- 2+ years UI Web development with Vue (preferred), Angular, React Framework- Front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS and TypeScript- Understanding of MVC/MVVM patterns- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirements team meetings- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design- English: Fluent- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategyPreferred skills:- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis- Knowledge of, at least, one functional language including Java8- Knowledge of professional software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations- Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems- Experience with Agile software development- Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)- Experience with containerized micro-services (Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot)We offer:- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Constant training, tutoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- Pleasant work environment (game room, nap area, amenities and more).- Flexible work hours and dress code- Hired directly by Toshiba and 100% under payroll- Benefits of the law (IMSS, INFONAVIT, December day voucher, vacation voucher)- Major and Minor medical expenses insurance: Life, major medical expenses with dental and visual coverage.
