Jr. Technical Architect

We are seeking a Jr. Technical Architect to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City and is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. As a Jr. Technical Architect at Marsh, you will support the design and delivery of scalable, secure solutions, gaining hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, software architecture, and integration practices. Responsibilities Design and develop software architectures aligned with business needs and enterprise standards. Support cloud and on‑premises solution design, primarily focusing on AWS and Azure environments. Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation efforts using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Help enforce security best practices, including OWASP guidelines, throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in architectural reviews and provide input on software design and integration. Support integration efforts with enterprise systems and third‑party platforms. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical skills. Work closely with senior architects and mentors to develop professional growth and technical expertise. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in software development or related technical roles. Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, multi‑cloud) and cloud‑native architecture. Strong hands‑on experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Deep knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and architectural frameworks. Proficient in modern technology stacks including Node.js, Angular, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, and APIs. 100% fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
