At PepsiCo we create a Space to be y( )u.**Responsibilities**:**Operations Purchasing Representatives FLUS Plants****Main Purpose**This role is to provide support for the Purchasing of Indirect materials, Services and Capital items for Manufacturing and Warehouse operations for FLUS. This includes issuing Capital & Expense Purchase Orders,Receiving and Reconciliation of invoices. This role also interacts with suppliers and contractors to manage the flow of purchase payment instructions and change orders.**Responsibilities**:- Execute purchase request using SAP, Ariba, Oracle, MyBuy Purchasing systems and processes- Create capital and other goods and services (OG&S) purchase orders and receive invoices for capital projects- Interact with suppliers and contractors to manage flow of purchase payment instructions and change orders- Maintain and distribute purchase order packages to appropriate field personnel and authorized agents.- Resolve purchase order and receipt of goods and services discrepancies.- Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the SAP, Oracle and Ariba purchasing systems.- Provide training to new managers on purchasing policies and procedures, as needed.Thank you so much for thinking about PepsiCo to start or continue your careerQualifications:**I***:- Have at least 18 months in your current function- Notify your direct leader and HRBP that you are interested on the position- PDR evaluation of at least 2/2 on the last two years- Have not received any warrants and/or disciplinary notifications on the last 12 months**Education/Requirements**- Fluent in English required- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or similar field preferred- Procurement process knowledge and 0-1 years of relevant experience required- Capital project, construction, accounting, or purchasing experience helpful- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management- Purchasing systems knowledge (Oracle, Ariba, SAP) helpful- Strong organizational skills- Solid computer skills with Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products**Non Technical Skills**- Prioritizes own time to complete work, identifying activity or task criticality and adjusting priorities when appropriate- Recognizes the need for additional information, actively obtains it, and uses it to solve issues or problems to drive performance results- Takes action to pursue an opportunity, address an issue, or prevent a problem to drive business performance- Takes action or generate alternative solutions to resolve department level problems or situations- Makes recommendations about department opportunities and improvement areas- Seeks out opportunities to improve team performance; takes appropriate action- Influences people within his/her own team- Provides support on removing obstacles for their team on daily issues that might arise- Successfully performs required technical tasks and understands technical terminology and developments within area of expertise- Maintains composure and projects a credible, confident image in stressful situations, demonstrates a positive attitude- Leverages own deep knowledge and skills within department systems and processes to deliver results
