Material Planner

We are hiring a **Long-Distance Material Planner** toschedule and coordinate the distribution of products to meet customer demand, keeping inventory levels maintained, and revising shipment plans as needed. They will work with other departments to ensure that the accuracy of shipment records and customer satisfaction is met. The role involves analyzing product demand and trends to make necessary inventory adjustments.**What You Will Be Doing:- Analyze material requirements for raw and purchased material to complete production orders sequenced production and delivery of parts from internal and external suppliers.- Analyzes and revises shipment plans as required.- Works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy of shipment records.- Determines reorder points and ensures that sufficient levels of inventory are maintained.- Analyzes actual product demand, trends, and forecasts, and adjusts inventory plans accordingly.- Regular maintenance of materials throughout life cycle.- Process material rejects Root cause and corrective actions, QMN’s.- Represents LDSC materials planning on Product Development projects while working with cross-functional teams.Communicate with manufacturing plants in NA and across the globe, Order fulfillment, Logistics, and international suppliers.**Wellbeing Means so Much More than Benefits:We value our employees' well-being at Steelcase and offer several resources to support their health, work, and personal needs.- Employee Assistance Program, which provides immediate and confidential help 24/7 for any problem related to health, work, or personal life.
