Where no two days are the same.**- **YOUR ROLE**:- **Interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met.**- **Work with other functions Design / Releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs.**- **Translate Functional Objectives into technical requirements and solutions.**- **Create and analyze alternative design concepts.**- **Integrating system components.**- **Maintain core Engineering Design Practices (EDP’s).**- **Implement innovation roadmaps as well as coordinate the advancement of new technologies and procedures to improve program timing.**- **Own and update Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) - ensure functional objectives, guidelines and corporate requirements are met.**- **Conduct Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling (Catia / NX) and template set-up & maintenance using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques.**- **Generate CAD and 2D drawings for components including GD&T.**- **Build detailed harness BOMs.**- **YOUR PROFILE**:- **Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering.**- **Demonstrated working knowledge of Powertrain, Engine, Transmission operation and components. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.**- **Knowledge of CAN/LIN bus and experience with circuit analysis.**- **NX and Teamcenter knowledge.**- **Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience.**- **Experience with Tooling feasibility in Injection molded plastics/Decorative components.**- **Knowledge of Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), FEA, Mold Flow Virtual Validation, GD&T, and i-Speed.**- **Knowledge of Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, Projection Technologies.**- **Understanding of Bluetooth, WiFi protocols, USB**- **Strong technical knowledge of plastic design and system interfaces.**- **Strong technical knowledge of mechanism and moving components interfaces.**- **Strong technical knowledge of plastic components and metal structures design and seat system interfaces.**- **Understanding of electrical engineering protocols and standards.**- **High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).**- **WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?**:- **At Capgemini Engineering, we encourage flexibility in how, when, and where people get their work done, allowing a better work-life balance, and greater empowerment.
