With over**10 years of experience**and**200+ clients across the US, Mexico, and South America**, we are partners of Snowflake, Fivetran, Tableau, and Power BI, and trusted experts in modern analytics solutions.We are looking for a**Data Engineer**to join our team in Monterrey, preferably working**hybrid (12 days in office)**,this role focuses on database migrations, so we are looking for a professional with proven experience in similar projects, skilled in tools such as**Snowflake, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, Databricks**, and relational databases like**SQL Server**.**Key Responsibilities**- Lead and execute database migrations, ensuring smooth transitions while minimizing downtime.- Design efficient and scalable solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.- Assess and select the most suitable technologies for migration projects.- Analyze existing databases, identifying optimization opportunities and resolving performance issues.- Design, implement, and maintain ETL data pipelines, ensuring data quality and consistency.- Build secure and scalable data architectures with a focus on confidentiality and integrity.- Document technical processes and best practices to support both the team and end-users.- Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing proactive solutions to avoid bottlenecks.- Manage implementation projects, including creating work plans, drafting technical proposals, and coordinating follow-up meetings with clients and teams.**Requirements**:**Education**- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.**Experience**- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a**Data Engineer**(mandatory).- Demonstrated experience in**database migration projects**.- Strong expertise in**Snowflake, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL Server**.- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data architectures.**Preferred Certifications**- Snowflake certifications.**Additional Skills**- Experience with**NoSQL databases**.- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools such as**Git**.- Strong communication skills in**English**, both written and spoken.- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.**What We Offer at EGOS BI**- **Compensation**: 100% payroll-based scheme.- ** Benefits**: Legal benefits plus additional perks.- ** Above-Law Benefits**:- ** Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm.- ** Work Model**: Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote).- Career plan and continuous training.- Professional growth opportunities within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.**Nível de educación deseada**:Superior - titulado**Nível de experiência deseada**:Nível Experto**Función departamental**:Tecnología / Internet**Industria**:Servicios de TI y consultoría**Habilidades**:- Snowflake- Azure Data Factory- Databricks- Fivetran- SQL Server
