Performs calibration procedures correctly by using the applicable calibration standards appropriately _. _**Duties & Responsibilities**- Calibrates, maintains, and safeguards inspection, measuring, test equipment (IM&TE) and software according to guidelines and procedures.- Participates in the development and maintenance of written calibration procedures.- Maintains calibration records for IM&TE.- Development and maintenance of written calibration procedures (for senior)- Generates NCR’s according to local procedures. (for senior)- Ensure all disposition and changes to IM&TE’s are made following procedures. (for senior)- Responsible for adequate training to Technicians according to Symmetry System (for senior)- Compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and other safety precautions within the work area.- Ensures that the controlled environmental monitoring is complete and on schedule.- Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EHS) responsibilities- Follow J&J and Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records, and third-party vendor if applicable.- Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures, Performs other duties assigned as needed.**Qualifications**:**Experience and education**- Technical Career Studies or equivalent applicable to the area: Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Metrology, Instrumentalist.- Refer Table A for information regarding years of experience required.- A Minimum of Technical Education Diploma- Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.- 6 to 8 years of experience in related fields.- BS Degree in progress
