**Position Overview**:Eddy Pump Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Programmer to join our team.As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the programming logic for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that control our advanced pumping systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our pumping technology. This position requires strong expertise in PLC programming, industrial automation, and a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions in the pumping industry.**Responsibilities**:- Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs for our pumping systems, ensuring accurate control, monitoring, and data acquisition.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems engineers, to define system requirements and develop comprehensive PLC solutions.- Develop and implement ladder logic, function block diagrams (FBD), structured text (ST), or other programming languages for PLC programming.- Configure and program human-machine interface (HMI) panels to provide intuitive and user-friendly control interfaces for operators.- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of PLC programs to identify and resolve issues, ensuring reliable and efficient system operation.- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate third-party components and technologies into our PLC systems.- Perform system integration and testing to ensure seamless communication and operation between PLCs, HMIs, and other equipment.- Collaborate with the electrical engineering team to ensure proper wiring, installation, and commissioning of PLC systems.- Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including program specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.- Proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation, preferably in the field of pumping systems or related industries.- Strong proficiency in programming languages for PLCs, such as ladder logic, function block diagrams (FBD), structured text (ST), or similar.- Experience with popular PLC programming software and platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric).- Knowledge of human-machine interface (HMI) software and configuration tools for creating user-friendly control interfaces.- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, or others.- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions.- Understanding of electrical wiring, control panel design, and electrical schematics.- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices in the context of PLC programming and system integration.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.- **CODESYS Experience**:- **Experience is VFDs**Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
