This position requires a blend of analytical skills, market knowledge, and a strategic mindset to support procurement decisions and activities. Self-starters with a drive to win will find success in the role and expanding department within AspenTech.Your Impact- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for management.- Supplier & Order Management: Assist in placing orders and managing supplier relationships, including conducting performance reviews, negotiating contracts, and resolving order issues.- Procurement Processes: Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure compliance.- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier innovations.- Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Sourcing Category Managers on strategic sourcing initiatives, cost reduction programs, and supplier diversity and compliance efforts.- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.What You'll Need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.- 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related analytical role.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.- Experience in Coupa and source-to-pay software and ERP systems is a plus.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
