**Lead Financial Analyst****What you will do**:Under the general direction of the Director of Financial Operations, our Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for providing in-depth financial planning and business analysis related to the Corporate Function Finance support.Must be able to effectively and professionally work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The primary duties of this role will be to lead the financial and analytical processes for Corporate Functions at Johnson Controls.**How you will do it**:- Prepares monthly Corporate Function financial statements.- Prepares annual operating and capital budgets, along with monthly Outlooks for Corporate Functions.- Leads analysis for Corporate Functions to identify and understand financial trends.- Maintains dialog with management and departmental and regional financial personnel to identify and evaluate evolving business issues.- Leads analysis of operational results compared to plan and forecast.- Partner with Corporate Function leaders to adhere to plan/forecast.- Maintains effective internal controls for all assigned responsibilities.- Provides leadership and support to other COE Finance team members as needed.- Assists with special projects and analysis as directed.**What we look for**:- Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance.- Minimum of 6 years of work experience in private and/or public accounting.- CPA or MBA preferred- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with ability to adapt to changing environment.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer focused approach.- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and a drive to achieve both short and long term results.- Ability to work well independently and in team setting.- Exceptional analytical skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen required- Proven track record of delivering results required- Ability to meet firm deadlines.- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects.- Exhibits professional demeanor and emotional maturity
