Cash & Banking, Supervisor – Flowserve Corporation Role Summary As a Cash & Bank Supervisor you lead a team of accountants in US GAAP accounting, including accruals, account reconciliation, recurring journal entries, consolidation, ad‑hoc queries, and adjustments. You supervise month‑end closings, reconciliations, audit processes, and the transition of general ledger responsibilities. Responsibilities Supervise a team of 6–8 accountants in day‑to‑day work. Lead the transition of general ledger responsibilities from US or EU sites to the Shared Service center. Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end closing processes and account reconciliations under US‑GAAP. Work with site controllers to ensure accurate and controlled financial statements. Support internal and external audits. Balance team workload to meet month‑end deadlines and KPI targets. Help develop an environment that attracts and retains quality talent. Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls for the center’s operations. Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Work cross‑functionally to ensure end‑to‑end processes work within the assigned region or sites. Maintain a good relationship with site leadership to ensure a healthy service level. Other duties as assigned. Requirements BS or BA in a relevant field with 5–7 years of supervisory experience. Solid experience in General Ledger activities, Expense Auditing and Cash Application. Fluent English (conversation and written). Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Experience in the ramp‑up phase or significant growth of a service center. Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people. Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues.
