About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Pre‑Sales Engineer to help drive the growth of our SaaS business in Europe. This role is a critical link between Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams. You will be instrumental in showcasing the value of our AI camera and software solutions to potential clients, helping them understand how our platform can solve real‑world business challenges. You’ll need strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the role that AI plays in delivering critical outcomes in industrial and transport settings. Key Responsibilities Product Demonstrations & Presentations Use your natural curiosity and understanding of technology to undertake discovery, building up a comprehensive picture of our prospect’s pains and how we can solve them. Deliver tailored software demonstrations that align with each client’s specific needs and business goals. Clearly communicate product benefits and use cases to technical and non-technical audiences. Use your market and solution knowledge to support marketing activities such as delivering webinars and writing blogs. Solution Design Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and design customized solutions that highlight our platform’s capabilities. Technical Expertise Serve as the technical point of contact during the sales cycle—addressing questions related to product features, integrations, scalability, and security. RFP/RFI Support Lead or assist in the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), providing accurate and comprehensive technical input. Customer Engagement Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients by understanding their business challenges and advising on how our solutions can help. Sales Collaboration Partner with Account Executives and other GTM functions to craft compelling value propositions and handle any technical objections that may arise during the sales process. Market & Product Feedback Share insights with Product and Marketing teams based on customer conversations, market trends, and competitor offerings. Training & Onboarding Support the handover of new clients post-sale to our delivery teams, ensuring a smooth transition from pre‑sales to implementation. Qualifications & Experience 7+ years of experience in technical pre‑sales or technical problem‑solving roles, ideally within a SaaS organization. Strong understanding of AIoT technologies and enterprise software ecosystems, ideally with a background in telematics, IoT or warehouse management. Proven ability to create and deliver compelling product demos that align with client needs. Experience supporting and leading responses to RFPs and RFIs with high‑quality documentation. Ability to simplify complex technical topics for a broad range of audiences in both sales and training contexts. Strong business analysis skills with the ability to understand client requirements and translate them into solution designs. Commercially astute with the ability to add value in both internal strategy discussions and external client conversations. Approachable, personable, and able to quickly build trust with stakeholders. Self‑sufficient, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, balancing multiple activities. Confident working cross‑functionally across Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both English (required) and German (preferred). Willingness to travel to customer sites for presentations, workshops, and onboarding support. Experience working in international, fast‑paced SaaS environments is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
