**LOCATION**:Acuna / Coahuila (MX-COA), Mexico |**BRAND**: Bendix |**REQUISITION ID**:5334 |** JOB GRADE***:12|** ON-SITE/REMOTE**: On-site**JOB DESCRIPTION**:**Position Summary**:Responsible for indirect purchases and inventory control on tool crib, manage cost reduction initiatives and all supplier relationship agreements (Long Term Agreements, Purchase Orders)**Essential Functions**:- Define, implement and leads indirect purchasing processes and controls- Lead commodity strategies for tool crib components- Assist to implement Kanban, VMI initiatives- Identify Benchmark and submit Cost Deployment initiative- Manage Inventory Targets for Tool crib inventory- Manage Obsolete Inventory Process for Tool crib Inventory- Expedite Critical material- Manage Escalation process on bad delivery suppliers- Understand and meets Quality and EHS procedures- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned- Knows and Communicates the need for product safety.- The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members- Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:- Reports to plant Materials Manager- Job **is** **NOT directly** responsible for managing other employees.
