Product Development Engineer

Descripción y detalle de las actividadesDesign Support and Modifications: Utilize SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) to create, modify, and maintain product designs, including the development of jigs and fixtures to supportmanufacturing needs.Supplier and Materials Management: Work closely with suppliers to refine raw material specifications, ensuring that the materials meet performance, quality, and cost requirements.Laboratory and Testing Coordination: Collaborate with labs to design and execute material testing and validation, ensuring product performance aligns with specifications.Design of Experiments (DOE): Develop and execute Design of Experiments to optimize product designs and manufacturing processes, focusing on cost, efficiency, and quality.Regulatory Compliance: Lead initiatives to ensure product compliance with relevant regulations, guiding the company through the review and adjustment of products to meet regulatory standards.SOP and Procedure Development: Create, document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other process documentation for all key activities, ensuring consistency, clarity, and compliance with industry standards.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, compliance records, and SOPs, to support decision-making andregulatory submissions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., R&D, Quality, Manufacturing,Procurement) to integrate technical insights into product development, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement within product design, manufacturing processes, and material selection, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.Experiência y requisitos- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for product design and modifications.- Experience with lean manufacturing, line balancing, and BOM creation.- Knowledge of material properties, testing, and supplier management.- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and product compliance processes.- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct Design of Experiments (DOE).- Experience in creating, documenting, and maintaining SOPs and procedures for manufacturing and development processes.- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional tasks.- Bilingual (English and Spanish)- 3+ years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineering roles with exposure to design, testing, regulatory compliance, and process documentation.- Proven track record in optimizing manufacturing processes, including line balancing, BOM creation, and lean practices.- Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and designing experiments to improve product and process quality.3- Knowledge of regulatory compliance processes and the ability to lead product adjustments to meet industry standards.Beneficios- Beneficios de acuerdo a la LFT- caja de ahorro- comedor- fondo de ahorro- Bono de Puntualidad- Bono de Asistencia- Vales de Despensa- Días de permiso por matrimonio- Días de permiso por enfermedad- Días de permiso por fallecimiento de familiar directo**Número de vacantes** 1**Área** Ingeniería**Contrato** Permanente**Modalidad** Presencial**Turno** Diurno**Jornada** Tiempo Completo**Horario**- Tiempo completo- Turno Matutino- Lunes a viernes**Estudios** Carrera con título profesional**Inglés**Hablado: Avanzado, Escrito: Avanzado**Disponibilidad p. viajar** No
