We are currently hiring an experienced and proactive HR Specialist to support one of our clients in the multi-family property management industry. You’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your HR expertise will directly impact team cohesion, compliance, and organizational growth.**Responsibilities**:Employee Onboarding & Records Management- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a consistent experience across multiple property locations.- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) and ensure full compliance with company policies and legal standards.HR Policy & Employee Support- Address employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures.- Support benefits administration including enrollments, updates, and resolving issues.Employee Relations & Compliance- Assist in handling employee relations matters such as investigations, disciplinary documentation, and policy enforcement.- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws particularly within multi-site, multi-state operations.Training, Development & Reporting- Support performance evaluation processes and coordinate training and development efforts across all teams.- Generate and analyze HR reports including metrics related to turnover, recruitment, and compliance.**What Makes You a Perfect Fit**:You are highly organized, people-focused, and comfortable navigating the complexities of HR in a fast-paced, decentralized environment. Experience in property management or multi-site environments gives you an added advantage.**Required Experience & Skills**:- 3+ years of HR experience (preferably in property management, real estate, or hospitality)- Strong understanding of employment law across multiple states- Proficiency in HRIS systems (especially ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite- Familiarity with roles common in property management (leasing agents, property managers, maintenance techs)- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred)- HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP (a plus)What Does a Typical Day Look Like?Your day will involve collaborating with both corporate and onsite teams, managing HR operations such as onboarding, employee inquiries, compliance tracking, and supporting training initiatives.
